Apple unveils 32-inch 6K desktop Apple Mac Pro

Apple WWDC 2019 held on  June 3 to June 7, apple unveiled Apple Mac Pro .The content creator who rely on Apple desktop cheered Tim Cook who displayed new Mac Pro. Cook also unveiled the ultimate professional monitor.

Apple’s new Pro Display XDR features a huge price, but it a beast in terms of specifications, in this huge world of professional displays. Apples mew 32-inch display have a highest resolution of 6,016 X 3,384 with 20 million pixels.

Display

This 6k HDR display os 40 percent brighter than Apple’s iMac with 5K display. It do offers users P3 wide colour and a million to one contrast ratio. Screen can also maintain a sustained 1,000 nits of brightness with 1,600 nits of peek brightness. New Apple Mac Pro features ultra-thin bezels, which gives a premium look.

Maintaining that 1,000 nits of brightness for a long period, consumes a loto of power and cooling, that is why Apple have adopted “cheese grater” technology for ventilation on the back of the monitor

The standard Pro Display XDR with the glossy finish will be released at with a price tag 0f $4,999 (Rs 3,45,000), while nano texture glass model will be priced at $5,999(Rs 4,15,000)

You will be requiring stand to hold the display. Pro Stand will cost you $999, while the VESA Mount Adapter will cost you $199, where both are not included with monitors price, and sold separately.

This can charge extra to the consumer for the stand, but professional who utilise these display tend to have VESA mount adapter, and will not require the stand. Still $4,999 seems over the top.

Apple draws a lot of comparison between this 6K display and high end displays for the reference monitors in the market, which can approximately $18,000 – $40,000 and are generally use in editing side to make movies.
