On 6th June HMD Global will be unveiling the successor of the Nokia 6.1 i.e. the Nokia 6.2. As per the rumours, the Nokia X71 launched in Taiwan could be rebranded as Nokia 6.2 for the global markets. Rumour says it that this model with with 4GB RAM will cost Rs 18,999 in India. It is also expected that HMD Global to launch the Nokia 6.2 with 6GB of RAM as well. Nokia 6.2 as mentioned earlier might share the same specifications as the already launched Nokia X71.
Nokia X71 has 6.4-inch PureDisplay display with Full HD+ resolution and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and has RAM of 6GB and internal storage of 128GB. The punch-hole display with a small cut-out for the front camera offers 93% screen-to-body ratio. Nokia 6.2 is also expected of have features same as listed above.
The Nokia X71 sports triple camera setup featuring 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree FoV, and a 5MP depth sensor. For the rear camera there is a 16MP in-display camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The device also sports a circular fingerprint scanner on the front. It is also part of the Android One family and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Nokia 6.2 comes from the similar. It has many similar features as above.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. The power button also comes with a breathing light which acts the notifications LED light. It comes with a sturdy metal frame with 2.5D curved glass on the front and rear.
